A Friend becoming Family!
Most of you are familiar with a good friend of ours named "John". He was the guard at the old house we used to rent. We moved to Morrison and he has moved on to another location. However we have kept up eating hotpot and reading the bible together. Andrew John and myself have worked through the book of Mark and we are working through key Old Testament passages. 2 weeks ago John gave his life to Jesus!! He is not ready to be called a Christian. We did not preach to him a gospel of church, or religion. We talked to him about following Jesus and belief in Him.
Please continue to pray for John Andrew and I as we meet together. With my traveling and Andrews busy schedule we are only connecting a few times a month. Pray John will continue to choose Jesus in all areas of his life.
Jeff with Tsegmed and Sundui in Mongolia. We met before they traveled up to Russia to meet with our friends who are making disciples. They have made 2 trips this fall. It is exciting to see how their ministries are growing. In one group there was a bit of division between some church leaders but since committing to make disciples and allowing God to grow His church the leaders have unified and are working together again. Praise the Lord.

Happy New Year!Family Update
The semester has flown by with concerts, games, and plenty of school work for each of the kids. Jeff has had several trips since our HMA. Lately, he has not had any since the beginning of November. It is nice to have him home for an extended time before his travel picks up again in the spring.
Mikayla is on the JV girls basketball team and her mom is her coach this year. Yes, Shauna is the new head coach of the JV girls basketball team here at Morrison. Her schedule has been quite busy but she is enjoying coaching a sport that she has loved for so much of her life. Mikayla continues to be hard at work in all of her classes, her two favorites have been weight lifting and pottery.
Ava just finished performing in the middle school play called "Cafe Murder." She did a wonderful job, but she is glad to have a reprieve in her schedule. She finished up her last year of middle school soccer just as Jeff returned from Mongolia and volleyball begins in January. She has been working hard in her Algebra class and it seems just like yesterday she was beginning 1st grade here at Morrison.
Jeffrey has been working hard in class and we have seen a lot of academic growth and maturity this year. He too has been having fun playing basketball and soccer this past fall. He loves to play Roblox and is usually chatting with his friends about the games they are playing.
Alyssa too also just finished up fall sports of soccer and basketball. Shauna and her ran a 2k race a few weeks back and on Christmas Eve the whole family will an 8K relay style. It will be good to expend some energy in preparation for all the food we will be eating.
Shauna continues to teach 3rd grade and enjoys her class. She will finish up coaching JV girls basketball in Feb. and start MS basketball a few weeks later.
